Many of the talking heads on TV and the financial doomsayers are saying that we are either in a recession or that we are heading for one. Ben Bernanke says that we will not have a recession in 2008...so when will we? It is reasonable to think that recessions are a normal part of the financial cycle.
When I was growing up it seemed that we were always in some type of recession. There is no doubt that recessions can cause upheaval for those who are most effected and who could lose their jobs but many of the people losing their jobs might take steps to get re=training so that they can find a better job.
I guess I just want to get this recession going so that we can come out on the other side to another boom time.
