Credit Score Update

I just checked my Equifax credit report and everything appears to be in order. My credit score is a healthy 790. The only thing hurting my score was that I opened my newest account in January 2007 only 1 year and 2 months ago. According to the folks at Equifax, those with high scores opened their most recent accounts more than 27 months ago.

I would still like to get my score over 800 if I could. One thing hampering me is the amounts still owed on my mortgage. My current mortgage balance is 98% of the starting balance.

I am pleased with my current score.
